Return Policy

For a period of 30 days from the date of purchase, STERIS Instrument Management Services, Inc. (IMS), and for purposes of this guarantee, STERIS Animal Health (STERIS AH), will accept the return of each new Surgical-Grade Animal Health surgical instrument (i.e., German-grade and Middleline only) sold in the United States by STERIS AH or its authorized agents in accordance with the terms of this return policy. Please contact a STERIS AH Customer Care Representative for return authorization. Instruments will not be processed for return without a Return Authorization Number. Instruments must be in unused condition and in the original packaging in order to be returned. Custom-made, color-coded, etched and specially sourced instruments, and instruments that have been sterilized, taped, modified or abused, may not be returned. Customer is responsible for returning instruments to STERIS AH. STERIS AH will issue FedEx Call Tags and merchandise return labels if the return is a result of STERIS AH’s mishandling (shipping error, etc.).

Customers have 30 days from the date of purchase to return an instrument for full credit. Credit will be applied to original method of payment for the order.

ALL SPECTRUM VET, IMS, AND IMS-SPECTRUM SURGICAL-GRADE ANIMAL HEALTH SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS ARE SOLD “AS-IS” AND THIS RETURN POLICY AND LIMITED LIFETIME REPAIR GUARANTEE ARE IN LIEU OF ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN, EXPRESS, OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ALL SUCH WARRANTIES ARE EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED. STERIS AH’S OBLIGATIONS AND CUSTOMER’S REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO THOSE SPECIFICALLY SET FORTH IN THIS RETURN POLICY AND LIMITED LIFETIME REPAIR GUARANTEE. STERIS AH’S LIABILITY, BASED ON ANY THEORY, WILL NOT EXCEED THE PRICE OF THE INDIVIDUAL SURGICAL-GRADE ANIMAL HEALTH INSTRUMENT WHOSE DEFECT FOR DAMAGE IS THE BASIS OF THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT WILL IMS OR STERIS AH BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF USE OF FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT, OR OTHER INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND.
